Celebrating Community

October was a month filled with energy, compassion, and community spirit, a time when pet lovers came together to celebrate care in all its forms. From wellness events to playful gatherings, it was all about connection, learning, and giving back.

The month began with Dog Yoga & Adoption Day at Alura, Dubai, organized in partnership with Furballs, BookMyPet, and yoppy puppyyoga. The event brought yoga enthusiasts and animal lovers together for two peaceful sessions, where every pose and breath carried a deeper meaning of connection and compassion.

Participants stretched and smiled alongside friendly pups looking for their forever homes. It was more than a fitness session; it was a reminder that adoption can start with something as simple as presence, empathy, and shared joy. By the end of the day, several dogs had found loving families, leaving everyone with a sense of fulfillment and hope.

Later in the month, the energy shifted from calm to celebration at the RAKAWC Pool Pawty in Ras Al Khaimah. On Saturday, October 25th, the RAK Animal Welfare Centre opened its doors for a day filled with music, laughter, and tail wags. From 3 PM to 9 PM, the space came alive with visitors, families, and pets enjoying games, prizes, and poolside fun.

The event was organized to raise awareness and support for RAKAWC’s mission caring for more than 1,500 rescued animals every day. With the help of 30+ local vendors, it succeeded in creating an atmosphere of joy and purpose, showing how much can be achieved when the community comes together for a cause.
